Lance Booker sentenced to life in prison
Still claiming his innocence, Lance Booker learned Thursday morning in Rensselaer County Court he will spend the rest of his life in prison for the murder of Christopher Drabik. Even though he didn't pull the trigger, authorities said the punishment fits his role in driving the getaway car.

Rensselaer County DA Patricia DeAngelis said, "It doesn't matter he didn't pull the trigger. He did everything in his power to make sure Christopher Drabik would die. Christopher's death was very violent, and nothing is going to bring him back. "

Drabik was a police informant scheduled to testify against Michael Hoffler in a drug trial in Albany County Court. Drabik's family was at the sentencing, but chose not to speak. DeAngelis said they are happy with the outcome.

"This sentence isn't going to bring Chris back, but I know that they feel comfort knowing the he (Booker) is not going to be on the street anymore," said DeAngelis.

Michael Hoffler and the alleged shooter, Gregory Heckstall, are also expected to stand trial for Drabik's death.
