Hoffler is found guilty
A Troy jury has found a convicted drug dealer guilty of conspiracy to have a police informant killed. It was the same police informant that was supposed to testify against him in a drug trial last year.

Thursday, Michael Hoffler became the third person to be convicted in the murder-for-hire plot of Christopher Drabik. He was killed only one week before he was supposed to testify against Hoffler.

"The jury has spoken, and I have always defended with every jury verdict our system is reinforced. And it's the duty of everybody to respect the jury's verdict," said Raymond Kelly.

Hoffler is scheduled to be sentenced June 9. He faces life in prison without parole, but his attorney said he will appeal the ruling.
