KINGSTON, N.Y. -- The 29th annual Festival of Dance is held at the Ulster Performing Arts Center.

The Ulster Ballet Company showcased local and internationally known dancers in a diverse range of styles and techniques. Those who are involved said it's something people in the community look forward to each year.

Quiedo "Sonny" Carbone, Co-Artistic Director of the Ulster Ballet Company said, “They're all thrilled to be here and to come out and watch this performance. This is such a variety of dance and such a quality of dance that we see."

Maleda Funk, an Ulster Ballet performer said, “Just seeing new people and welcoming new people in and performing for different varieties of ages from very little children to all the way up to adults and senior citizens. Everyone seems to love our show."

The Festival of Dance was first showcased in 1983.
