PORT JERVIS, N.Y. -- Firefighters were called to the scene of a four alarm fire in Port Jervis. The flames broke out around 2 p.m. Thursday at multiple dwellings on North Orange Street.

We were told by our photographer at the scene that two houses were involved.

Fire officials are also asking Port Jervis residents to try to avoid using water until 9 p.m. Thursday.
