COLUMBIA COUNTY, N.Y. -- State Police have arrested three people after troopers say they found a variety of drugs inside a car they pulled over for speeding.

Officials pulled the car over on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Gallatin Thursday night. Troopers say they found ecstasy, xanex, LSD and other drugs inside the car driven by Saverio Galasso. Passengers Samantha Paston and Jacob Riesenberg were also arrested.

All three face two counts of felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Galasso was also charged with driving while ability impaired and the speeding violation.

They were arraigned in the Town of Livingston Court and are in custody at the Columbia County Jail.
