CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. -- It's now to honor our Kid of the Week. This week, it's nine-year-old Shaun Margolies of Niskayuna.

Shaun recently adopted a cat from the Animal Protective Foundation. After seeing all the animals in need of homes, he wanted to do more than just help one. So when his birthday came around, Shaun asked his friends and family for APF donations. In all, he got $200 worth of money and food donations for the animal shelter.
