HUDSON VALLEY, N.Y. -- If you're planning on celebrating the Fourth of July at the Walkway Over the Hudson, you'll need to get your wristband.

Organizers say with nearly 3,000 people attending the event, they do require advance ticket sales. They say money they raise at the Fourth of July celebration supports their nonprofit organization, Walkway Over the Hudson.

Wristbands cost $10 for anyone over the age of five.

Ticketholders will be able to access the walkway from both the east and west side.
