KINGSTON, N.Y. -- More than 200 people came to Tech City in Kingston for a walk over the weekend to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

The two-mile walk has raised more than $20,000 to help fund diabetes research to find a cure, better treatment options, and prevention of type 1 diabetes.

In attendance was Logan Michael, 9, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 7. He said he's raised more than $5,000 for the walk by doing his own little fundraisers.

"I've been biking down my neighborhood, I've been calling all my friends, texting all my friends, doing all these things so they will support me," he said.

There are two more walks scheduled in the Hudson Valley. One is at Dutchess Stadium in Fishkill and the another at the Historic Track in Goshen.
