The fate of Cory Byrd is now in the hands of a jury. Jurors were given the case Wednesday afternoon after the defense and prosecution presented closing arguments. Elaina Athans has more.

GOSHEN, N.Y. -- Deliberations have wrapped up for the day at the Orange County Courthouse in the murder trial of Cory Byrd.
The Newburgh man is accused of killing 4-year-old Marc Bookal in December 2009.
The prosecution rested on Tuesday, and with no witnesses to call, the defense also rested its case.
Closing arguments were given today and the jury began deliberating for a short time before ending for the day. Deliberations resume Thursday morning.
