Albany man arrested for Third Street shooting
ALBANY, N.Y. -- Police have arrested an Albany man they say shot another man in the leg.
Police say Kareem Alston, 23, of Garfield Street, shot a man last Tuesday night in front of Third Street in Albany. The victim told police Alston pointed a gun at him, stole his gold necklace and an earring before shooting him in the leg.
Alston was arrested and charged with criminal use of a firearm, robbery and reckless endangerment. He was arraigned and sent to Albany County Jail.
