LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. -- A Westchester County man drowned over the weekend in Lake George.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office said Peter Myung, 23, was swimming with friends near Shelving Rock on Sunday when he became distressed and started yelling for help. His friends were able to bring him back to the boat where CPR was performed.

Myung was taken to Glens Falls Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy was conducted, and the cause of death was determined to be drowning.
