TROY, N.Y. -- A Troy couple is in jail after police said they tried to steal baby formula by hiding it under their child who is only four months old. East Greenbush Police arrested Marcella Schaeffer, 23, and Abraham Rone, 27, on Friday afternoon.

Police said the two were picking up containers of baby formula and then putting them in the cargo space of the baby stroller. The pair walked out of the store with about $200 worth of formula. A patrolman stopped the couple in the parking lot, found the stolen formula, and arrested the couple.

Store officials said the couple has pulled similar crimes recently, but only now were police able to identify them.
