SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Thursday marks the first day of the Great New York State Fair.

People from all over New York will travel to Syracuse for the state's biggest fair. It's Governor's Day today, so Governor Cuomo will be out at the fairgrounds.

Musical acts at the Chevy Court this year include Karmin and Neon Trees. And don't forget about the unique fair food. This year's big ticket item is the Big Kahuna Hot Dog which is a hot dog wrapped in bacon with a glazed donut for the bun.
