NISKAYUNA, N.Y. -- GE Global Research hosted its annual "Science Day" to help inspire the next generation of scientists. Fourth graders throughout the Capital Region took part in a number of hands-on science and technology exhibits.

The students got to see X-ray imaging, make colored slime and write secret messages with invisible ink. There was even a magic show.

"One guy was chemistry and another was magic and they did all these chemistry tricks and magic tricks with chemicals. It has been a really good day so far,” said AJ Whiteman, from Schoharie.

GE has hosted Science Day since 1989.
