MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. -- A New Jersey man is dead after an apparent fight. Police were called to the West Gate Bar on West Main Street around 3:00 a.m. on Saturday.

When they got there, they found a 46-year-old man on the ground. He was taken to Orange Regional Medical Center where he died. Officers then arrested Kevin Conklin, 23, on a manslaughter charge. He is being held at the Orange County Jail on $250,000 bail.
