Three people hospitalized following accident

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Three people were hospitalized on Sunday morning in Albany, following an accident between three vehicles, including a CDTA bus. It happened around 11:15 a.m. on Madison Avenue.

Police said a man was driving westbound when he failed to stop at the Quail Street intersection and hit an SUV going north on Quail Street. The SUV then rolled over into the bus's windshield. Police said the bus was traveling southbound on Quail Street.

Three people, including the bus driver, had minor injuries. According to police, the drive that caused the accident was ticketed for failure to yield right of way, and failure to stop at a red light.
