FEMA declares public assistance aid for Ulster, Sullivan County
HUDSON VALLEY, N.Y. -- In addition to receiving individual assistance for residents that were victims of damage from Sandy, FEMA has also declared Ulster and Sullivan counties eligible for their public assistance program. This will allow county and local governments and private not-for-profits to apply for reimbursement costs from Sandy related expenses.
So far, public assistance has not been declared for Orange County.
