ULSTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The group tasked with selling the Golden Hill Health Care Center is expected to select a bid today. Six companies placed bid deposits back in September to potentially buy the center.
Ulster County legislators voted to transfer Golden Hill over to the local development corporation last year. Golden Hill supporters have opposed privatizing it, worrying about the future of the nursing home's patients and employees.
