Movie filming affecting parking in Kingston

KINGSTON, N.Y. -- A movie shoot in uptown Kingston is affecting parking in the city.

On Friday, filming will take place between 4 a.m. and 8 p.m. and the city has enacted a few parking restrictions. You will not be allowed to park in the following areas during filming:

  • Both sides of Wall Street between Main Street and the Courthouse

  • Main Street between Fair and Wall Streets on the Old Dutch Church Side

  • Both sides of Fair Street from the Volunteer Fireman's Museum to Main Street

Mayor Shane Gallo released this statement saying, "I encourage cooperation during this filming production and ask residents to be alert for pedestrians and additional vehicles in the areas the filming is taking place."
