Man arrested after failing to register as sex offender
ULSTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Port Ewen man was arrested after deputies say he failed to register as a sex offender.
According to the Ulster County Sheriff's office, Timothy Temple, 21, a level two sex offender, moved from the Town of Esopus to the City of Kingston without notifying them, the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services or the City of Kingston Police Department.
After moving, sex offenders have ten days to notify authorities
Temple was arrested and taken to the Ulster County Jail on $2,500 bail.
