Army's Wilson scores Rookie of the Week honors
WEST POINT, N.Y. -- Army freshman Kyle Wilson had himself a game against Binghamton University. Enough to earn him Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors.
In Army's home opener, Wilson scored 25 points, which is the highest scoring game by a Black Knights rookie since the 1998-1999 season.
Wilson made nine buckets while going 3-3 from beyond the arc. He also tallied four free throws, four rebounds and an assist.
He is the third Army player to earn Rookie of the Week honors in the last two seasons.
