GREENWICH, N.Y. -- "She just brought that type of hometown family joy to everyone that came through the door," said Larry Wilbur of Easton.

The door to Lynn's Country Cafe stayed locked Tuesday and a sign was posted on the front steps.

"To all of our friends and customers, thank you for your concern and caring at this time," it partly read.

"The community as you walk around this morning is really, really devastated," said Wilbur.

He's a longtime customer and is just one of many who stopped by after hearing of the death of 26-year-old Joe-De Wilbur. We're told she was the owner's daughter and a waitress there.

"She was always up, always. Always friendly and always full of life," said current customer and former co-worker Jim Swartz.

"It was that spirit and joy of living that drew people here to the extent that they did," said Wilbur.

Joe-De Wilbur died Monday, State Police said, after her truck veered off Johnson Hill Road in Hoosick Falls and rolled two times. Her two young children survived the crash, but friends and customers said she was pregnant with a third.

"Really down. That something like this could happen. Awful thing. Devastated," said Swartz.

State Police are still investigating the cause of the accident but said it appeared speed and a slippery roadway, played a role.
