MONTICELLO, N.Y. -- Monticello police arrested a man who they say was found with a loaded handgun and crack cocaine.

Police say they spotted Terrell Troy, 32, Tuesday night tossing a silver colored object on the ground. The officers discovered it was a loaded .32 caliber handgun. Police say Troy also had a plastic bag filled with five tin foils of crack cocaine.

Troy has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies. He is being held in Sullivan County Jail without bail.
