DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- In an effort to give back to those devastated by Sandy, the Rombout Fire Department will host the first of two pancake breakfasts Sunday.

The event will take place Sunday from 8 to11 a.m. at Rombout Station 1 in Fishkill. Firefighters will serve out a breakfast menu including pancakes and made to order omelets.

The fire department plans to donate all proceeds from the breakfast to the Point Breeze Volunteer Fire Department, which lost nearly everything in the storm.

The second breakfast will take place December 23rd.
