ULSTER, N.Y. -- Just a few days after 60 Christmas trees were stolen from a boy scout fundraiser, a local good samaritan steps up to fill the gap left by the thief.
Adams Fairacre Farms in the town of Ulster donated 40 trees to the Boy Scouts yesterday afternoon. Alder's Wholesale Florist in Campbell Hall has agreed to donate the remaining 20 trees.
The trees were stolen from the Burlington Coat Factory parking lot on Route 9-W early Thanksgiving morning. The Scouts are raising money for Camp Tri-Mount.
