Monticello man arrested in connection with shooting
MONTICELLO, N.Y. -- Police have arrested a Monticello man they say shot another man in the face and leg earlier in the month.
Police say Franklin Brinson, 20, shot the victim back on November 12th at the Sunoco convenience store on Forestburg Road in the Village of Monticello. The victim was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center for emergency surgery.
Brinson was arrested Monday afternoon at the Horizon Apartments and charged with assault, criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment. He is being held at Sullivan County Jail without bail.
