Gas prices slightly down in the Hudson Valley

HUDSON VALLEY -- The current national average according to AAA is $3.41. That average has remained steady since last week, and is down about $0.13 since a month ago.

In New York State, drivers are still not seeing quite as much relief at the pump. Prices are sitting at $3.89. That's down about $0.03 since last week at this time.

It's also down about $0.03 since last month, showing that prices here are taking much longer to fall than in the rest of the country.

Locally, drivers are doing better. Prices are significantly lower ranging from $3.66 to $3.81 in Kingston. In Poughkeepsie, prices are a bit higher, ranging from $3.83 to $3.99. In Middletown, prices range from $3.70 to $3.89.
