MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. -- Crews responded to a house fire in Orange County on Wednesday. The fire broke out on Linden Avenue in Middletown sometime before noon.

Heavy smoke poured from the top window of the home.

Officials say aluminum sliding and a metal roof kept the fire in, making it difficult to fight.

There are no reports of any injuries.
