NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- A Newburgh police investigation lead to the seizure of heroin, crack cocaine and cash from 77 Chambers Street.
The Newburgh narcotics unit recovered 744 envelopes of heroin, oversix6 grams of unpackaged heroin, more than six grams of crack cocaine, packaging materials and over $18,000 in cash.
Police say the heroin was distributed from the basement apartment of Raymond Staffon, 23. They say Dwayne Wallace, 48, and Rebecca Haschak, 29, were the main cause of their investigation.
Also arrested was Margaret Arrotta, 44, for possession. She was released on her own recognizance.
Staffon, Wallace and Haschak are all being held until they are arraigned.
