KINGSTON, N.Y. -- FEMA's Disaster Recovery Center in Kingston will remain open for the rest of the week. Located at the Hudson River Maritime Museum, representatives from FEMA and Small Business Administration will be available for Sandy victims.

Centers like this provide the opportunity to speak face to face with someone about their specific situation. Ulster County is one of the many disaster areas declared by FEMA after many homes and businesses were destroyed by Sandy.

The Disaster Recovery Center will be open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. through Friday.

If you aren't able to make it to the center, you can still apply online at disasterassistance.gov, or by calling FEMA at (800) 621-3362.
