PHILADELPHIA, PA -- We're just days away from the 113th Army/Navy matchup in Philly. On Wednesday, one of the highlights or rivalry week was the unveiling of this years game uniform.

The Black Knights tweaked their current uniforms and the new look is getting rave reviews on the internet. Nike designed this uniform to pay tribute to the year 1944, which included the first of the Black Knights’ three straight national championships and the United States’ World War II victory at the Battle of the Bulge.

The Black Knights will sport black jerseys with black pants, gold shoes and gold helmets. A historical, re-interpreted West Point map of the battle is incorporated into several elements of the uniform, including the jersey numbers, gloves, helmet stripe and inside of the cleats.

In addition, the helmet feature a small black spade on the side in honor of the 101st Airborne Division, that fought in the Battle of the Bulge.
