TAMPA -- The man facing second degree murder charges in the death of a Hyde Park woman has waived extradition in a Florida court. The move means State Police will have to go to Florida to pick Justin Curran up themselves.
Curran was taken into custody in Tampa last week. He is charged in the murder of Laurie Ferguson. Ferguson was found stabbed to death in her Hyde Park home on Thanksgiving Day.
State Police will be picking Curran up some time in the next few weeks.
