POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The Marist football season only recently ended but their already thinking about the 2013 campaign. The Red Foxes released their 2013 conference schedule on Monday.

The Pioneer Football League welcomes two new schools, Mercer and Stetson for the 2013 season. It will also be the first year that the winner of the Pioneer Football League earns an automatic bid to the NCAA FCS Tournament.

Marist will open up the conference schedule against Dayton. Then the Red Foxes play their home opener against Valparaiso on October 5th before hitting the road for two more contests against San Diego and Davidson.

In the second half of the schedule, on October 26th, Marist hosts one of the newcomers to the PFL in Stetson. After that the Red Foxes will face off with Jacksonville before going on the road to face Campbell.

The Red Foxes wrap up the regular season with a home matchup against the other new team in the League, Mercer.
