DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- State Police arrested a woman they crashed her car into a house in Red Hook while drunk.

Police say Lynn Sarnowski, 47, of Elizaville, crashed her car through the front door of the house at around 11 p.m. Saturday night. They say the car came to a stop in the house's living room and injured a man on the second floor. A woman who was watching television in the house narrowly avoided injury.

Sarnowski was charged with misdemeanor DWI after being treated at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie.
