Hearings to decide future of Sandy Hook building

By: Web Staff

NEWTOWN, Conn. -- Those living in Newtown, Connecticut have to make a decision about the future of the Sandy Hook Elementary building. The first of two public hearings was held on Sunday.

Attendees were divided about whether children should ever return to the site of the December 14th tragedy. Some people believe the building should be demolished, while others say it should be renovated and the areas where the killings occurred removed.

Sandy Hook students and staff have relocated to another school in a neighboring town.
