Charges upgraded in fatal crash

SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Charges have been upgraded against a Clifton Park woman who police say was driving drunk and killed another driver.

Traci Briskin has been accused of running a stop sign on Route 67 in Charlton back in November and hitting another car, driven by Thomas Baker. She was originally charged with DWI, failing to stop for a stop sign and vehicular assault.

Baker, who had been hospitalized since the crash, died of his injuries in December. Now, an additional charge of vehicular manslaughter has been added to the list of charges Briskin faces.

Briskin was arraigned and released on $20,000 bond.
