HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- The man accused of killing a 67-year-old woman in Hyde Park pleaded not guilty to murder charges.
Justin Curran, 36, was in Dutchess County Court Friday morning. Curran entered a not guilty plea to 21 charges of second-degree murder, kidnapping, burglary, grand larceny, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Laurie Ferguson was found stabbed to death at her home at Mobile Manor Trailer park on Thanksgiving Day. State police tracked Curran down in Tampa, Florida about two weeks after Ferguson was murdered.
Police say Curran and Ferguson lived in the same complex.
Curran is due back in court on January 30th.
