NISKAYUNA, N.Y. -- A local teen was granted her wish to meet superstar Selena Gomez.

Nineteen-year-old D'Aundra Johnson suffers from serious health challenges, but that didn't stop her from attending Gomez's concert in New York City on January 19th. The teen is a huge fan of Gomez and Make-A-Wish helped make her dream come true.

"I mean, when I tell you this was the best experience, she didn't want to leave the hotel room. She said 'can I have another night?' After she met Selena, she said 'can I meet her again?' I mean, this was the thing that we needed to uplift her spirits," said Tammie Thomas, Pathways Director of Recreation.

Johnson lives at Pathways Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Niskayuna.
