HUDSON VALLEY, N.Y. -- After a month of steady gas prices in New York State, the cost per gallon is once again sky rocketing.

The statewide average now $3.86 per gallon. Prices jumped two more cents Sunday night and 13 cents from last week.

Around the Hudson Valley, drivers are paying anywhere from $3.72 in Newburgh, to as much as $3.89 in Poughkeepsie.

Along with drivers in California, Connecticut, and Hawaii, New York drivers are experiencing some of the highest gas prices in the country.
