HUDSON VALLEY, N.Y. -- New York Waterway's plans to resume ferry service between Newburgh and Beacon stalled Tuesday morning when the boat wouldn't start.
The problem was electrical, according to a spokesman for the company.
Things are expected to be working in time for the evening rush.
Icy conditions in the Hudson led New York Waterway to stop service on the Newburgh-Beacon and Haverstraw-Ossining routes last month.
There was no trouble running the Haverstraw boats this morning.
