No arrests in shooting incident

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Police are still looking for the person responsible for a shooting Friday afternoon in Schenectady that sent one person to the hospital. It happened on Madison Street.

The victim was shot in the torso and taken to Albany Medical Center. Police say the victim is in critical condition.

Now according to police, there was an infant in the home when the shooting happened. They say after the shooting, the child was handed over to Child Protective Services to be reunited with its mother. The relationship between the victim and the infant is unknown.

Police say they're also unsure if the victim and the shooter knew each other.
