Person of interest located in death of Anita Jacobs-Royer

KINGSTON, N.Y. -- The Ulster County District Attorney's office says the person of interest in their investigation into the death of Anita Jacobs-Royer has been taken into custody.
According to the DA's office, the person is being held by U.S. Marshals in New York City for violating his parole. Officials have still not said what kind of relationship Jacobs-Royer had with this person.
The 45-year-old was found dead in her home on Third Avenue last weekend.
The District Attorney's office announced on Monday that they were looking into Jacobs-Royer's death as a homicide.
The person of interest was arrested by fugitive task force and members of the Kingston Police Department in New York City.
