POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The City of Poughkeepsie is looking for someone interested in volunteering on the Board of Assessment Review.
The Board is made up of three to five volunteer members with a general knowledge of city property values. The BAR conducts hearings to evaluate grievance applications and makes decisions on assessed property values.
City residents who are interested in applying should send a letter of interest and resume to the City Chamberlain by fax at 451-4225 or by email at DFlynn@CityofPoughkeepsie.com.
