HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Hyde Park Police arrest a gas station employee they say stole nearly $5,000 from the business.

Police say they have been investigating money missing from the Stop and Shop on Albany Post Road since December.

They say the investigation led them to arrest Jeffrey Nelson, 43, of Poughkeepsie.

He's accused of stealing more than $4,800 from the shop.

Nelson was charged with Grand Larceny. He was arraigned and released on bail.
