TAMPA, FL -- Four months after breaking his ankle in the playoffs, Derek Jeter was back in uniform, taking part in baseball activities, as the Yankees full squad took the field together. Of course, the captain feels too much is being made out of his comeback.

"I think everyone is making too much of this. Yes I broke my ankle but that was awhile ago. I'm right where I need to be," said Jeter.

"He looked good. He took some grounders, turned some double plays. He's where I expected him to be," said Joe Girardi, Yankees Manager.

For Jeter, the ankle is holding up well but there is plenty of general soreness to go around. "You know when you get to spring training, everyone is a little sore even if they've worked out all off season. Just standing around is tough. So everyone is sore," said the captain.

Besides the injuries and comebacks, the main story in this camp as it is every year, is the Yankees' goal. Winning is all that matters.

"When your the most successful franchise in baseball history, you can't look at small things. You have to look at the world series or nothing. And we all understand that here," said Mark Teixeira, the Yankees First Baseman.

The Yankees chase for another championship begins April 1st when they host the Boston Red Sox in the season opener.
