NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- Two city of Newburgh brothers indicted after a riot last summer have pleaded not guilty following their arraignment in Orange County Court.

Donald Lembhard, 21, and Calvin Lembhard, 19, face charges including felony riot, assault and reckless endangerment.

In August, about 100 people gathered for a memorial to honor their brother Michael Lembhard. When police responded, they say bricks were thrown at them- and some officers were injured.

Back in March, Michael Lembhard was shot and killed by Newburgh Police. Officers say he threatened them with a knife.
