Four teens arrested on drug charges
NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- Four City of Newburgh teens have been arrested after police say they were found with several bundles of heroin and cocaine.
According to police, an SUV was pulled over by State Troopers around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday on State Route 52. Police say as the car pulled over, they noticed debris being thrown from the window, which was later determined to be the heroin.
Laquan Falls, 17, Raiquan Falls, 17, Frederick Blue, 16, and a 15-year-old juvenile were all in the vehicle.
According to police, the 15-year-old had a juvenile warrant for her arrest.
All four teens were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Laquan Falls was additionally charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument after it was discovered that he had a counterfeit 20 dollar bill.
