POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department released an update to a fatal accident that happened back in January.

Police said Stephanie Brennan, 29 of Wappingers Falls, had a blood alcohol content that was three times the legal limit when her car crashed in the Town of Poughkeepsie.

According to police, Brennan also had high levels of marijuana in her system.

Brennan was killed on January 19th on Vassar Road near Silver Lane when police say her car crossed the double yellow line to pass another car.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others were injured.
