POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The Poughkeepsie City School District is turning to the community for feedback on its schools.

Throughout the next month, students, staff, and parents will be surveyed on what the school district does well and what areas need improvements.

Curriculum, collaboration, and vision are just some of the topics on the survey.

Staff will have the survey emailed to them, and students will take it during class. Any parents interested in taking the survey can do so through the district's website beginning tomorrow.

The survey is required by the New York State Education Department, and is all part of an effort to include the entire community in improving the schools.

After the survey is closed on March 22nd, the results will be shared with the Integrated Intervention team, made up of district representatives and outside experts.
