Poughkeepsie car owners to pay less for being towed during snowstorm
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – There is some good news for car owners who had their vehicles towed following the recent snowstorm in Poughkeepsie.
Roughly 30 people were each hit with $245 in fees and fines. According to Mayor John Tkazyik, the city will waive its $75 administration fee and $25 storage fees. That means it'll only cost you $145 to get your car back.
Residents will have to file a claim at city hall.
